Englewood, FL day 2

Sunday, March 12, 2014 What a gorgeous night! I slept in waking at 8:30 to sunny skies and a nice breeze. Bob took Auggie to shore for his morning walk while I had breakfast and dried off the boat from the morning dew.

We had an easy morning and packed up our gear for an afternoon at the beach. As we left the boat, Bob noticed a bald eagle resting on an oyster bar nearby.

We spent some time under the sun and searched for shark’s teeth on the beach. The beach was busy with sun worshipers.

Three hours at the beach was enough for the first day so we dinghied back to the boat for some respite from the heat. We relaxed on the boat and watched the steady stream of boat traffic to and from the beach. We enjoyed the afternoon and cooked burgers on the grill. After taking Auggie to shore for his evening walk, we relaxed watching some TV. It will be a calm, quiet night.
