Wednesday, April 16, 2014 It was a cloudy, cool, and windy day. Bob and Bernie finished the second phase of the project repair, filled the dinghy gas tank, and filled the water tank. We will be leaving tomorrow and needed to have plenty of water for the rest of the way home. After lunch, we decided to visit Lakes Park.
It is a great place to walk, bike, and even take a train ride.
They were setting up for the Easter egg hunt that the park was hosting.
We talked and walked around the entire perimenter of the park which included a couple of lakes. Hence, its name.
We thought this was a great chance for a photo-op and Bernie and Bob stepped in for the shot.
After a couple of hours of strolling the park, we headed for home with a stop at Wal-Mart and Publix. Bob was going to fix a farewell dinner of shish-ka-bob and rice pilaf. We had cocktails while Bob worked his magic in the kitchen.
Dinner was fabulous! We played a couple of games of dominoes after dinner and then hit the hot tub with a movie.
We had to call it a night around 11:00 as everyone was getting a little tired. It was a full-moon sky and we slept with the hatches open on a beautiful night.
