April 25, 2023 We are making all the preparations for our trip and are prepping the house for hurricane season. We took the bus in for its annual oil change and had the front end aligned for the first time. On May 7, we went out for a drive to check the front end alignment and fuel up and discovered that our TV antenna had broken off. Good thing it happened while we were still in town. Bob ordered the parts, and with the help of our good friend and neighbor, Mark, the guys were able to install it and get it working again. Mark is our handy-dandy “climber”, unafraid of heights, and all around lifesaver. (Bob is afraid of heights and I can do it, but I didn’t know what I was looking at, so Mark came to the rescue!) God willing, we will be ready to leave Palmetto and head north on May 14.
(Every year, it takes me a little while to refresh my memory on how my blog works and update myself on any new procedures. I hope to remember how to do everything and keep the blog running smoothly, but if for some reason I run across a glitch, please bear with me.)
